Idea Description
FootGolf UAE is a sports development initiative focused on building FootGolf as a structured activity through golf club integration, player participation, events, and long-term national growth. FootGolf combines football and golf and is played on golf courses under official rules and etiquette. In the UAE, the project can begin through pilot activation at selected golf clubs and expand through leagues, tournaments, player pathways, and a stronger national structure.
Challenges The Idea is Addressing
FootGolf in the Gulf remains underdeveloped because there are not enough official structures, organized player pathways, or long-term national programs. Golf clubs also need new ways to activate infrastructure, attract younger and more diverse audiences, and generate additional revenue. FootGolf addresses both issues by using existing golf environments in a practical, low-cost, and scalable format.
